Narcoleptic: Randomness Prevails.

Sruti came over today. So basically we did nothing all day except incessantly mock ourselves and our so very adorable antics.

I spent the entire day on Bingo Mad Angles Achari Masti. You just have to be in India to realise how amazing that is.

Washing machine conked out so I am literally doing all my laundry manually. All my laundry plus all the washing that needs to be done in preparation for the big migration.

Laptop battery conked out. Luckily warranty covers it. It's kind of nice actually becuase now lugging around the thing is much more easy considering its minus 2 kilo weight credited to the battery.

So much of work is yet to be done. However, now that shopping is nearly over, my entire family somehow lives in an illusion. We actually believe that everything has been done. All I need to do is somehow drag my stuff to the airport, find myself a seat on the plane and just zoom halfway across the world. How else can I justify how we simply push aside work everyday. At this rate we will have to make a cinematic entry into the airport having finished our work no where less than 7 minutes earlier.

I feel absolutely nothing about leaving yet. I see my classmates counting the days down. That kind of brings me close to being sad. But doesn't really work. I am waiting for some emotion to kick in. Anything. Because now? the questions have begun. I should have seen this coming - people coming up to me every second hour trying to pry into the dingiest cracks of my head, to figure how exactly I feel about all of this. I sincerely hope I had something to say to them. Because quite frankly, it's much easier to stand up for a feeling that you are actually acquianted to.

I realise I need to sleep less, because at the rate of 10 hours a day, I will be jetlagged for an entire week when I land in the U.S. And I do not intend to sleep through the wake of Fall.
